Use Blackberry spy software to prevent teen violence By AlysaJeff

The factors that particularly contribute to the aggressive behavior of teens are drug abuse, high risk sexual encounters, academic issues, poverty and above all depression. Most of the times, parents don’t even find out that their teen is troubled with any one of the aforementioned problems because they do not have the time to be around and monitor them. Blackberry spy software can solve this problem.

EzineSeeker.com

Blackberry spy Software can allow the parents who do not have time to supervise their kids, to monitor their activities through the special features that Blackberry Software offers. Through the Blackberry spy software, parents can log into the phone calls of their teens. They can get the duration of the call and the numbers to which the call has been made and received from. Therefore, parents can get a clear idea of the state of mind and activities of their kids by the way they interact with their friends. Likewise, SMS text logging is also possible that can serve the same function as call logging. If parents end up finding out that their children are involved in any of the factors that contribute to teen violence, appropriate measures can be taken accordingly.

Blackberry spy software also allows parents to log into the emails of their children. It makes it possible for them to view the sent and received emails, as well as the documents, files and pictures attached to the emails. This can again help parents to know what their teenage children talk about with their friends and if they discuss any fights, or there are pictures of fights then parents can know that their child exhibits aggressive behavior.

If you have installed Blackberry Spy App in your child’s phone, you can make a spy call on their phone if at any time you are suspicious that your teenage child has gone out to fight. Spy call allows you to listen to the surrounding sound live.

Blackberry spy Software, if used in the right way, can help parents considerably reduce the aggressive behavior of their teens.

Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook’s Specs, Price and Release Date Revealed By Henry Funk

In the year of 2012, wise consumers tend to buy thin, light, quick-starting Windows laptops called ultrabooks. As the result, many companies, including Lenovo, Toshiba and even Dell have already invested in this new category. In recent years, Dell has had some difficulties in attracting buyers. Therefore, the XPS 13 introduced recently with specs, price, release date and other details is expected to attract more consumers for the company.

Dell XPS 13 is not different from other ultrabooks. Being a thin, light laptop with excellent powers, the XPS 13 is aimed to complete with Apple’s MacBook Air. Dell XPS 13 features a full-size screen and keyboard. The ultrabook, which uses a solid-state drive, starts up as well as resumes quickly.

The XPS 13 is the first ultrabook to be released by Dell late in February 2012 in the United States at $999

On the other hand, the XPS 13 is equipped with a 13-inch screen, making the device easier to be put in a briefcase. When being placed alongside a MacBook Air, the Dell’s first ultrabook looks noticeably smaller. However, the Dell XPS 13 isn’t smaller than its competitors in various dimensions.

The XPS 13 is thin – very thin, varying between 0.24 and 0.71 inches and weighs in at only 2.99 pounds

Talking about Dell XPS 13 ultrabook’s price, the ultra slim laptop with 4 gigabytes of memory and a 128 gigabyte solid-state drive is priced starting at $999. With the same specs, the Dell XPS 13 is estimated $300 less than Apple’s MacBook Air.

One thing that I've noticed a lot of websites and blogs offering is a business or personal Twitter feed. If you're new to Twitter - like I was - you might wonder how you could put a Twitter feed box on your website and customize it to your liking. As long as the customization isn't extensive, it's rather easy to do. In this tutorial, we're going to look at where to go to generate the code for a custom Twitter feed box.

The first thing you need to do is go to Twitter and sign in. Once you have, click on the drop down box next to your Twitter user name, along the top bar. When the list of options appears, choose Settings.

Screenshot1.png

We don't need to change any of the settings here; we just needed to see the site map options at the bottom of the page. So scroll down to the bottom of the page where the site map is, then click on About Us.

Screenshot2.png

Once the page loads, choose Resources from the side bar. This brings up a list of resources that you can include in your website, such as a Tweet button or a follow button. Choose Widgets to find the feed box.

Screenshot3.png

After you click on Widgets, click on My Website in the side bar. Choose Profile Widget from the list.

Screenshot4.png

When you land on the Settings tab, you can leave your user name or choose a different account by typing the user name into the box. Then, switch to the Preferences tab and choose how you want your Twitter feed to behave (i.e., whether or not there should be a scrolling bar, whether or not it should start by showing one tweet and updating it every few seconds, how many tweets it should show, etc). Then, click on Appearance and customize the text and box colors. You should try to use colors that you have on your website - or neutral colors mixed with one color from your website. Try to make it so that text is either white or black against a dark or light background; just make sure there is a good amount of contrast so it can easily be read. You can also customize the feed box size by going to the Dimensions tab and inputting the values you want.

Screenshot5.png

Once you're done with that and have tested it to make sure you like it, click on Finish & Grab code to copy and paste the code. Then you can go into the HTML of your website through an HTML editor or CMS and paste it where you want the feed box to be.

And it's that easy! If you want to further customize your Twitter feed box, you can always contact a web or application developer to help you with the design you have in mind.

Since the early days of the Internet, if you wanted more than just a flat color, you had to use images for your web designs. Gradients, drop shadows, and other elements had to be added in Photoshop—but things have since changed. Over the past couple of years, CSS has advanced to the point that you can add these things using coding that is interpreted in the browser. Although CSS3 doesn't have full support from every browser just yet, it is a huge step ahead for the design community. And here are just a few of the reasons why.

Better usability. Using coding instead of images means that your pages will load faster. It cuts down on the amount of HTTP requests, which means less bandwidth is taken up and the network runs more smoothly. Furthermore, using images isn't always good for universal usability; it could make it difficult for people using devices other than a desktop or laptop computer to access and navigate the pages. This is especially true for smart phones. The small screen size causes the images to load slowly and become distorted. By using hard coding, then the website's overall layout and design will look better in all browsers.

Smaller file sizes. One of the reasons why web pages using CSS3 load faster is because the file sizes are smaller. In addition to loading faster, having smaller file sizes saves room on the server and the computer, both when the page is created and when it is loaded in the browser window. Using CSS3 means that less resources are used.

Faster development time. Another area that CSS3 excels at is saving time when it comes to the development stages of building a website. Coding takes less time than creating the effects in Photoshop and going back and forth between your computer and the FTP client. Furthermore, when you need to make changes and see what they look like live, you can simply tweak the coding in the CSS file and save it, then refresh the page, whereas using image files, you'd have to save the images and upload them all to the FTP before you could refresh the page. Although the time may seem negligible for each image, managing more than a couple of images will cause the time to build up.

Although it may be some time before CSS3 is instated as protocol, it is already being utilized and steps are being taken towards making it standard. There are too many benefits to let it fall by the wayside. So even though there are still browsers that don't fully support CSS3, it is beneficial to use it along with a fallback, to make your sites ready for the future.

How to give a black-and-white photo color

Author: Sarah Hudson

There are many tutorials out there that show you how to adjust the coloration of photos, but I've found too many that talk about using curves instead of other adjustments. Although using curves is a great way to fix up your photos, it can be confusing and time consuming. In this tutorial, we're going to look at a quick and easy way to give a black-and-white photo color using adjustment layers in Photoshop CS4.

First, open Photoshop and click File then Open and navigate to the folder where you've saved your picture. In this tutorial, the entire picture is one color, so it's best to practice on a photo of one object. Once you've opened your photo, right click the background layer in the Layers panel (on the right side of the workspace) and click Layer from Background.

Photobucket

In order to add an adjustment layer, click on Layer then New Adjustment Layer then Hue/Saturation. We want to start to add a bit of color to it (hue) and adjust how much of that color shows up (saturation).

Photobucket

Using the sliders on the right side of the screen in the Adjustments panel, change the values until you have hints of a color close to the color you want the object to be. In this case, since I want my color to be brown, I've moved the slider until hints of yellow have appeared (the hue is set to +30). I've also adjusted the saturation to make it more visible (saturation is set to +50).

Photobucket

Now we need to add a fill color layer so we can add more color to the photo. To do this, click on Layer then New Fill Layer then Solid Color.

Photobucket

Choose the color you want your object to be; in this case, I want my object to be brown. I've opened a picture of wood in another Photoshop tab and used the eyedropper tool to choose a sample of the color. Then I went back to my other document and double clicked the color swatch on the Color Fill layer and used the eyedropper tool to click on the foreground color swatch in the Tools panel.

Photobucket

After I've changed the color, I went to the top of the Layers panel and clicked on the arrow beside the opacity drop down to bring up the slider. You can use the slider or type in the text area to change the value (I've made mine 30% so we can see the wood texture beneath it yet still have some color).

Photobucket

Because we had to lower the opacity, the photo looks kind of faded and washed out. In order to give it a richer contrast and look more lifelike, we need to fix up the contrast. To do this, we need another adjustment layer, so click Layer then New Adjustment Layer then Brightness/Contrast.

Photobucket

Finally, move the sliders for Brightness and Contrast until you're satisfied. I moved mine way down in order to make the color darker and bring out the details more. I changed my Brightness slider to -60 and my Contrast slider to -60 as well.

Photobucket

And there you have it – a colorful, realistic looking edit of a black-and-white picture. Although you might think you could do the same with just a color fill layer over the black-and-white photo or a color overlay using layer styles, it wouldn't give it as much definition or as realistic of an outcome.
